TE ARAROA TRAIL - CAPE SHUTTLE

Transport for Te Araroa Trail walkers who are starting/finishing the trail at Te Rerenga/Cape Reinga, will be available over the summer period - November to March. This service will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays only, from the Kaitaia/Awanui area.

Departure times

• Kaitaia I-Site (Te Ahu Centre) 9.00 am

• Kaitaia Accommodations 9.05 am

• Awanui Hotel 9.15 am

(Arrives at Cape Reinga 11.45 am approximately)

Rates

One way Te Araroa Trail walkers - per person (no child rates) $100

Bicycles can be carried $30 per bike

Two way sightseeing transport (same day) - per person (no child rate) $125

Bookings

All bookings must be made before the day of travel via our website, or via the Kaitaia and Paihia I-Site Information Centres.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

• A minimum of 4 full paying passengers applies before the transport will go ahead

• Trail walkers finishing at the Cape can book for an 11.00 am departure from the cape return to Kaitaia.

• Transport is direct via SH1 from Awanui
